A leader sets the tone. Something I'm learning daily in both beautiful and challenging ways as I lead my growing company. On this historic day, I’m inspired by the powerful words of PRESIDENT BIDEN and VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS. I'm filled with renewed hope as our new leaders have been intentional to set a tone of unity. While in the midst of a dark time that's far from over, we must hold our leaders accountable to make good on their promises. The Studio connects me with such wonderful people who are doing amazing things. Olivia is also known as Miss Orange County! An articulate, positive, and intelligent young lady who I loved creating photos with!

Photographers don’t give out their RAW (unedited) files, it’s a standard practice. But I’m a risk taker and gave out my RAW files to a lotta people.I decided to offer RAW images to studio guests who want to promote shoots at Spark Studios, so they could edit consistent with their aesthetic. I put together a photoshoot and it was a wonderful experience. I pushed myself to nail perfect photos in camera. Straight, solid composition, good light. Crooked images are my most common mistake, so I focused on being slow and intentional with each shot. Tiffany also did a stellar job with holding poses beautifully.These photos came out gorgeous and it was cool to see various edits on my work. The promotion was a success and a fun challenge as a photographer. And it helped people promote their business, which brings me joy. #jencykphotography #jencykrandomthoughts

For my high school senior photos, I went to a dark studio with a blue backdrop. I smiled for five minutes and they retouched my face way too much. The classic portrait lives in my yearbook somewhere. Clearly times have changed a little...and I love it!Uma is wearing our Fancy Pink Party Dress from The Wardrobe.

My niece’s husband wanted to do something special for his Mom. So he planned a photoshoot since her and her husband hadn’t done professional photos for years.Stephanie was nervous when she arrived at Spark Studios, which is a completely normal feeling. But once Jen finished her makeup and she stepped into her new outfit, I saw a transformation. Stephanie’s confidence and excitement were shining. These are the experiences that bring me so much joy to create. And of course these photos are so special.Send your parents my way! Studio shoots are the perfect setting for them to have these unforgettable moments. 💗
