Photographers don’t give out their RAW (unedited) files, it’s a standard practice. But I’m a risk taker and gave out my RAW files to a lotta people.I decided to offer RAW images to studio guests who want to promote shoots at Spark Studios, so they could edit consistent with their aesthetic. I put together a photoshoot and it was a wonderful experience. I pushed myself to nail perfect photos in camera. Straight, solid composition, good light. Crooked images are my most common mistake, so I focused on being slow and intentional with each shot. Tiffany also did a stellar job with holding poses beautifully.These photos came out gorgeous and it was cool to see various edits on my work. The promotion was a success and a fun challenge as a photographer. And it helped people promote their business, which brings me joy. #jencykphotography #jencykrandomthoughts

I started a new audiobook, Conscious Leadership by John Mackey, cofounder of Whole Foods. His words serve as a reminder that our world is in desperate need of more purpose driven leaders. Those who focus on serving others before themselves, whose motivations are rooted in unity, and who lead by example.As I watch today’s disgraceful events unfold...riots without repercussions, white supremacy perpetuated, and thousands upon thousands gathering maskless at our capitol, I’m further reminded of my call as a purpose driven leader.My journey continues to challenge me and take me to places of discomfort. But I whole heartedly believe that remaining true to this higher calling will allow me to lift others up and contribute to a greater good that will make the world a better one. #jencykphotography #jencykrandomthoughts
